I was born and raised in Pendleton, NY, and attended Starpoint Central School District from elementary to high school. I first discovered my love for musical theatre watching my older sister perform in her middle school’s production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. I decided that when I was old enough, I would audition for the musical too. After performing in my first musical, I never stopped. Once I got to high school, I became very involved by performing in every yearly production, becoming the Vice President of the Musical Club, performing in multiple school choirs, and participating in Buffalo’s regional high school musical theatre awards, The Kenny Awards.

In 2017, my performance as LeFou in Starpoint’s production of Beauty and the Beast earned me a Kenny Award for Outstanding Actor in a Supporting Role. This award win started a pipeline between me and Shea’s Performing Arts Center. After my win, I was invited to participate in educational summer programming at Shea’s as a student and then subsequently returned as an assistant to the production team, and eventually a stage manager, for the following six years.

After graduating from high school, I attended SUNY Buffalo State University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Theater. Throughout my time at Buffalo State, I worked on numerous theatrical productions as an performer, stage manager, director, and many other backstage roles. Right before my graduation, I made my professional debut in the Ensemble of Kinky Boots at MusicalFare Theatre, performed at Shea’s 710 Theatre. I graduated in spring of 2023 as the recipient of the Dean’s Award of Excellence in Theater.

Just after my graduation, I landed the position of Arts Education Coordinator at Shea’s Performing Arts Center. I have been in this role since September 2023 and it has been the most fulfilling experience I could have imagined. I am so lucky that I get to create and coordinate the exact same programs that landed me where I am today including our new high school musical theatre awards program, the Shea’s Wonder Awards. It is an honor to be a part of developing the next generation of theatre artists everyday.
